The Apex Grade 9mm Gunsmith Fit Threaded Barrel delivers measurable accuracy for shooters who demand consistent sub-inch groups at 25 yards. When properly fitted to your M&P slide and frame, this barrel produces 1.00” or smaller 5-shot groups—assuming you do your part. That level of precision matters whether you’re zeroing a red dot for a duty rig, confirming holds for a competition stage, or validating your carry ammo.

Each barrel starts from a heat treated, premium cold hammer forged stainless steel blank. The 1:10” twist rate stabilizes standard 115gr to 147gr projectiles, while Apex’s patented locking geometry improves lockup consistency shot after shot. The 1/2-28 threaded muzzle accepts standard suppressors and compensators, and a white stainless thread protector is included to protect the threads when not in use.

Fitment & installation notes:

• Gunsmith fitting required. This barrel must be fitted to both the slide and frame for proper function and accuracy.
• If your slide has a Loaded Chamber Indicator, you must install an Apex No Profile Loaded Chamber Indicator Block or remove the LCI entirely.
• Compatible with M&P and M2.0 pistols in 9mm, .40S&W, and .357SIG.

• Fitting this 9mm barrel into a .40S&W or .357SIG M&P/M2.0 allows you to shoot 9mm from that pistol.
• You must use a 9mm magazine for proper feeding and function.

What to expect with a conversion setup:

• A gap on either side of the barrel hood is normal when a 9mm barrel is installed in a .40/.357 slide. This gap does not affect accuracy.
• If you experience extraction or feeding issues during conversion use, remove the extractor, clean the hook thoroughly, and clean the inside of the slide. This typically resolves the issue.
