The mount is available in two configurations: with an integrated rear sight or without. For shooters who demand backup iron sight capability, the integrated rear sight version is the clear choice. This rear sight is positioned in front of the optic window, which serves a dual purpose. It not only provides a reliable co-witness point but also functions as a gas shield. This shield helps keep carbon and debris off the optic lens, meaning your sight picture stays cleaner for longer during extended range sessions or high-round-count courses.
When using the integrated rear sight version, the co-witness is set to sit in the bottom 25% of the optic window. This keeps the sight picture open and unobstructed while still giving you a solid reference point. To achieve this co-witness, you will need a tall front sight. Two different front sight height packages are available, so select the option that matches your barrel length for a proper zero.
This mount is designed to work with factory Loaded Chamber Indicators (LCI), so there is no modification needed to your slide. The integrated rear sight version is regulated for a point of aim / point of impact at 15 yards using 124 grain NATO ammunition. This gives you a proven, repeatable zero right out of the gate for standard duty and competition loads.
