Apex Tactical built this Action Enhancement Trigger Kit to fix exactly that—no guesswork, no gunsmithing degree required for the frame work. Drop it in, and you get a solid aluminum trigger body that replaces the hinged setup, paired with Apex’s Duty/Carry components. The result? A shorter, more consistent pull that cuts pre-travel and over-travel by about 20%, and shaves off 1–2 pounds of pull weight. The center-mounted pivoting safety keeps factory safety values intact, so you’re not sacrificing anything for performance.
This kit is meant for everyday carry or duty use—same stuff we run in our own rigs here at the shop. It gives you a crisper uptake, a reset you can actually feel, and repeatable performance shot after shot. A couple things to note: it won’t fit the Shield .45 ACP or the Gen 1 Shield, and we’d strongly recommend having a gunsmith install the Ultimate Striker Block into the slide. That’s just good practice.
