Magazine Base Pad for 10-Round BHP Magazine and Apex Magwell

Magazine changes under pressure demand precision. This base pad directly replaces the factory pad on your Mec-Gar 10-round BHP magazine, creating a seamless interface with the Apex Low-Profile Magwell for the SA/35 and BHP. It is a simple drop-in upgrade with no modification required.

The elongated design provides a positive purchase for your support hand, ensuring a consistent grip during high-speed reloads. The flared base acts as a hard stop against the magwell, preventing over-insertion that can damage the feed lips or cause a malfunction. Scalloped cuts on both sides of the pad give your fingers a defined texture to rip the magazine free during a speed reload or when clearing a stoppage.

Two material options are built for different priorities:

• Aluminum: Machined from a solid billet of 6061 aluminum, then hard anodized in black. The Apex logo is laser engraved after anodizing, so it won’t wear off. This is the choice for a rigid, fixed-weight feel that stands up to constant use on a duty or competition rig.
• 3D Printed Polymer: Made in-house from carbon fiber-filled material. This option offers a slight reduction in weight while maintaining structural integrity. Available in black, red, blue, green, and purple for color-coding magazines or matching your build.

Both versions are 100% manufactured in the USA in Phoenix, AZ. The carbon fiber-filled polymer uses a high-temperature filament that resists deformation in a hot car or direct sunlight.

Important Specification: This pad does not increase magazine capacity beyond the factory-specified 10 rounds. It is designed strictly for grip surface, positive magazine insertion, and reliable extraction.
