Description
The Apex Slide for the Hellcat and Hellcat Pro is a direct upgrade path for shooters who demand consistent performance from their carry or competition rig. Machined from heat-treated stainless steel right here in Phoenix, AZ, this slide is built to handle sustained use without the flex or wear found in softer materials. You are buying a component that was designed to work with your existing factory Hellcat internals or any Apex aftermarket barrel and slide parts, giving you full control over your build.
This is a partially stripped slide. You will need to transfer or source the following components from your original slide or purchase them new: striker assembly, striker block and spring, extractor and extractor plunger assembly, slide back plate, barrel, and recoil assembly. This setup allows you to reuse parts you already trust or upgrade specific components as your needs change. The slide is not a complete top-end; it is the foundation for your custom build.
Finish & Construction
All slides receive a Black PVD finish for corrosion resistance and low-glare operation. Flat Dark Earth (FDE) slides get Cerakote applied to all visible surfaces over the PVD base layer. Both finishes are applied in-house and hold up to holster wear, solvent exposure, and high-round-count training sessions.
Optic Mounting System
The optic cut is specifically machined for the Holosun K-series footprint, including the 407K, 507K, EPS, and EPS Carry. It also accepts Shield Arms RMSC optics—use the screws that come with the RMSC optic for that fit. Optic mounting screws for Holosun K-type optics are included. The mounting holes are 4mm x .7mm with 4+ full threads per hole, providing secure retention under recoil. Critically, the optic mount holes do not penetrate into the extractor spring channel. This design prevents any interference between your optic screws and the extraction system, regardless of screw length or torque.
Optic Cover Plate
Each slide ships with a 3-pack of 3D-printed optic cover plates (black, red, and blue) plus a set of two cover plate screws. These plates are contoured to match the slide profile, so you can run the slide without an optic and maintain a clean, snag-free surface.
Sights & Co-Witness
XS Tritium Night Sights come pre-installed. The front sight features an orange ring with a green tritium dot; the rear sight has two green tritium dots. These sights are set to co-witness through a Holosun 407K or 507K optic in the lower 20% of the window. This gives you a clear backup sight picture without crowding your red
