Built from machined aluminum, this base pad comes in two durable finishes. The Black model uses a Type III Hardcoat Anodized finish that stands up to holster wear and heavy use. The FDE model uses a commercially available Cerakote color (H-267 Magpul Flat Dark Earth) that matches the factory FDE frame closely—no mismatched gear on your rig. Each pad includes an extra power magazine spring that ensures the slide lock engages reliably on the last round, even with the added weight and spring compression from the extension.
